Irish-Spaniard DJ and producer. Latin-flavored club electronic from Southern Spain by way of Winter Park, Florida.
Watching MTV as a child, seeing Michael Jackson's Thriller video — that was it.
John Stallion is an Irish-Spaniard DJ and producer hailing from Southern Spain, now working between Cádiz and Winter Park, Florida. He's been DJing since the early '90s, and under former aliases has promoted and worked alongside independent and platinum artists alike.
The sound is club-built and unmistakably Mediterranean — Latin percussion, Spanish vocal hooks, and the kind of low-end that's been tuned on thousand-night dance floors. Singles like Ardiente — his "Barcelona club banger" — and the slow-burning Sentir reconnect him to his Spanish roots, while tracks like Deseo and Ella Quiere Party lean into pure floor-filler territory.
Influences run deep and wide: Tiësto's DRIVE, U2's Achtung Baby, The Doors 50th Anniversary Deluxe — and always, that first Thriller video.
